The NOC Enid Jets open the season Friday against Mid-America University JV at the Mabee Center.
The Jets, under the tutelage of coach Chris Gerber, are looking forward to the 22024-25 season.
"We have a good mix of sophomores and freshman, and sophomores have done a good job leading and the freshman have picked things up quickly," Gerber said. "So far, we've shown we can get a good shooting team with good defensive aggressiveness but still fall off at times. Excited for the season to begin and continue to get better each day and game."
Projected starters for the Jets include New Orleans transfer Preston Murphy along with returnees Nate Brown and Jordan England. They will be joined by freshmen from Dontrel Yearby and Riley Shore.
Depth pieces for the Jets include sophomore returnee Clyde Cummings and sophomore transfer Dante Smith along with freshmen Chris Williams, Oryne Stewart, and Gavin Barnard.
