Lady Jets Take 10-5 Victory Over Hesston College

The Lady Jets defeated Hesston College 10-5 on Saturday. The Jets fired up the offense in the first inning. A sacrifice bunt by Courtlyn Head scored one run for the Lady Jets. The Jets notched three runs in the seventh inning. The Jet offense in the inning was led by Kelsey Gammage and Madison McClatchey, who all drove in runs. Lindsi Spring earned the victory on the pitcher's mound for the Jets. She lasted three innings, allowing one hit and two runs while striking out three. Courtney Vaughn threw four innings in relief out of the bullpen. Ashley Yasin led things off on the hill for Hesston College. She went seven innings, allowing ten runs on eight hits and striking out 11. The Lady Jets collected eight hits. Gammage and Spring each collected multiple hits for the Jets. Gammage led the team with three hits in four at bats. Hesston College tallied seven hits. Sierrah Long and Lindsey James each managed multiple hits for Hesston College.
