Jets drop four in tough Enid Festival

Jets drop four in tough Enid Festival

The NOC Enid Jets dropped four games in the Enid Festival held Friday and Saturday.

The Jets are now 1-5 on the year.

"We played some tough teams including two top 20 teams," said coach Megan Hill.  "We had some good things happen throughout the weekend but they were out-weighed by allowing too many runs. We have games where we play well in two of the three phases, we just have to keep working to put games together where all three phases are clicking together."

"These are growing pains that come with a new system and everyone getting used to each other early on," Hill added.  "We know what our identity is as a team, now we just need to keep working on putting it all together. We will get there but we will take some hits in the process. I love playing the tough competition early on so we know where we need to get, it will only make us stronger down the road."
