The NOC Jets swept Mid-America Christian JV Tuesday afternoon in the season opener 8-0 and 5-2.

In Game 1, Ashleigh McCause  homered and Madison Gabeau tossed a one-hitter as the Jets run ruled MACU JV 8-0.

NOC outhit MACU 11-1, Brook Fleming, Ariana Potter, and Krista Yackeyonny had two hits each.  Kaycee Babek scored two runs for the Jets.

Gabeau fanned eight in five innings.

NOC scored in four of the five innings.

In Game 2, the Jets broke open a 2-2 tie with three runs in the sixth to earn the 5-2 win.

In the sixth, the Jets pieced together hits by Fleming, McCause, Alexis Enslinger, and Ashlyn Smith scoring three runs.

Riah Smith hit a two-run home run in the third scoring Slater Eck to get the Jets on the board.

Reagan Detrick earned the win out of the Jets' bullpen in back of starter Molly Dolan.  Detrick allowed one run while Detrick allowed one unearned run.

The Jets (2-0) travel to Denison, Texas, for a festival Friday and Saturday.
