DENISON, Texas --  NOC Enid opened their season Friday at a festival in Denison (TX) with the Jets losing two one run games to Coffeyville (KS) and Cowley (KS).

In Game 1, the Jets out hit Coffeyville 11-9 but lost 6-5 in Denison.

Adie White had three hits for the Jets including a double and triple.  Taryn Rhodes had two hits for NOC while Sierra Woods, Yaya Pellett, and Aly Nash had rbi's for the Jets.

Nash stated in the circle allowing four earned runs on seven hits in four innings.  Aubrey Williams worked the final three innings for the Jets allowing one run.

The Jets moved the tying run to second in the final inning but couldn't rally against the Ravens.

In Game 2, Cowley scored the winning run on a bases loaded walk beating the Jets 3-2.

Rhodes and Yellett had rbi singles for the Jets while Emily Gregory added a double for NOC Enid.

Lakeylynn Thompson went the distance in the circle allowing three runs on five hits striking out eight.

The Jets face Vernon (TX) and Iowa Central on Saturday in Denison.
