DENISON, Texas --  NOC Enid picked up a win in Denison, Texas, Saturday as Lakelynn Thompson homered and doubled and Aly Nash worked a complete game in a 4-2 win over Iowa Central.

In Game 2, Thompson doubled home Taryn Rhodes in the second and then homered in the fourth scoring scoring Rhodes and Emily Gregory. giving the Jets a lead they would not relinquish.

Nash worked seven innings allowing two runs on six hits striking out one.

In Game 1, the Jets lost to Vernon (TX) 8-7 in extra innings.

NOC trailed 7-3 before scoring four runs in the fifth to tie the game at 7-7.  

Tylie Ligons, Sierra Woods, and Adie White had three hits each, White and Woods had two runs batted in each.  Emily Gregory added two hits for the Jets.

Karis Stewart started in the circle working the first four innings.  Audra Henderson worked the final four for the Jets.

NOC Enid (1-3) hosts Cloud (KS) Friday, Feb. 16 starting at 1 p.m.
