In Game 1, the Jets lost a 3-0 pitchers duel to the Tigers at Failing Field.

Cowley scored three runs in the 3rd inning and held on for a 3-0 win.

Lakelynn Thompson allowed just four hits while striking out 12.

Sidney Redmon and Yaya Pellett each doubled for the Jets who were outhit 4-2.

In Game 2, Cowley broke open a close game- with seven runs in the 7th turning a 2-1 Jets lead into a 7-2 win.

Aly Nash worked 6.1 innings while Karis Stewart worked the final .2 of an inning.

Emily Gregory homered for the Jets while she and Thompson had two hits each.  

The Jets (8-12) are at Weatherford (TX) on Saturday for two games.
