NOC Enid Athletic has selected Jacie Engler and Ray'Shawn Dotson as Student Athletes of the Week for Jan. 28.
Engler is a sophomore guard from Wright City while Dotson is a sophomore from Converse, Texas.
Engler had 13 points against Murray State on Jan. 21 and 16 points against Eastern on Jan. 24. Engler hit seven 3-pointers in the two games, both wins for the 16-2 Lady Jets, ranked 23rd in the nation this past week.
Dotson had 11 points and 12 rebounds against Murray State and then followed that performance with 14 points against Eastern last Thursday.
"Ray'Shawn is the ultimate team guy," said coach Aaron Butcher. "He doesn't care what position he is asked to play, or what his role is, he just wants to help the team win. He is a great person and a great teammate."
