Three Lady Jets were named to the 2019 NJCAA Region 2 All-Region Team this week.

Sophomores Sarah Griswold, Monique Tramble, and Jacie Engler were all named to the 15 player squad.  Macie Jo Pierce and Kaylee Hurst were named honorable mention.

Griswold, a first team selection, averages 18 points and six rebounds for the 25-2 Lady Jets.

"Sarah did a great job for us all year," said coach Scott Morris.  "She got off to a great start and as teams started to adjust to her, her game continued to evolve.  She is such a skilled player but very smart."

Tramble was a second team selection, averaging eight points, six assists, and three steals per game.

"Mo has elevated her game this year," Morris said of the point guard.  "In all my years of coaching, Mo has made as many strides not only as a player but as a person as any player we've had here.  She has matured both on and off the court."

Engler, a third team selection, averages 11 points, six rebounds, and four assists.

"Jacie brings a toughness to our team," Morris said.  "She plays without any fear on the court.  She's faced some adversity in life and continues to overcome any challenges that come her way."

The Lady Jets finished the year with a perfect 16-0 conference record.
