SHAWNEE, Oklahoma --  The NOC Enid Lady Jets broke open a close game with an 8-0 run to start the 4th quarter and then held off Connors 63-56 Thursday afternoon in the Region 2 Quarterfinals at OBU in Shawnee.

The Lady Jets (26-3) advance to semi-finals against Redlands Friday at 3 p.m.

NOC had a comfortable 43-27 lead midway in the 3rd period when Connors battled back to tie the game at 47-47 after the 3rd quarter.

In the critical 4th quarter 8-0 run, Kaylee Hurst had two baskets while Addi Meeker and Sarah Griswold added two points each.

NOC built the lead to as much as 10 before holding off the Cowgirls 63-56.

Chelsea Lazenby and Monique Tramble were key in the first half for the Jets, Lazenby had 14 of her team high 16 in the first half.  Tramble had 10 of her 12 points in the first half.

Lazenby added eight rebounds while Tramble had eight steals.
