SHAWNEE, Oklahoma --  The NOC Enid Lady Jets advanced to the NJCAA Region 2 Tournament with a convincing 75-53 win over NEO Friday afternoon at Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee.

NOC Enid (21-8) will face Murray State in the Region 2 Finals Saturday at 2 p.m.

Madelyn Wade led the Lady Jets with 21 points while Tonijah Fortune had 16 and Tanara Combs 11.

Combs led the Lady Jets with 10 rebounds while Wade added nine.  Fortune had five assists while Shelby Black had three steals.

The Lady Jets had lost twice to the Lady Norse twice during the regular season but NOC Enid dominated Friday's game from the outset.

NOC blasted out to a 42-26 lead at half and never looked back.  NOC built the lead to as much as 28 in the final period.

The Lady Jets shot 45 percent from the field and 41 percent from 3-point range.  The Lady Jets defense held NEO to 36 percent shooting.

NOC Enid split two games with Murray, winning 70-64 at Tishomingo and losing 69-62 in Enid.

Saturday's game will be the third consecutive appearance for the Lady Jets in the Region 2 finals.
