Kelli Jennings to lead Lady Jets program

Northern Oklahoma College has hired Kelli Jennings to head the NOC Enid Lady Jets basketball program.

Jennings comes to Enid from Okarche High School where she posted a three-year record of 78-17, earning trips to the Class A State Tournament semi-finals in 2018 and 2020.

"I am excited for the incredible opportunity to take over the Lady Jets basketball program and continue the rich tradition of contending for conference and national titles each year," Jennings said.  "More importantly, I look forward to coaching and mentoring women of character who want to represent NOC and our community well. Coach Morris has done a tremendous job in building the best JUCO program in the state of Oklahoma.  I am honored to follow in his footsteps upholding the same standards of excellence that have become the foundation for success."

NOC President Dr. Cheryl Evans said, "We are pleased to have Kelli Jennings join the NOC family.  We think that she will continue her winning ways with the Jets women and be a positive influence in their lives."

Athletic Director Jeremy Hise is excited to bring Jennings to NOC Enid.

"We are excited to welcome Kelli to the NOC family," Hise said.  "We know that she is a high energy coach who is passionate about the game of basketball and cares a great deal about her student-athletes.  We think she is a perfect fit to continue the tradition of academic and athletic excellence that we value here at Northern."

Jennings, a native of Seiling, played at Northwestern Oklahoma State University, graduating in 2010 with a degree in Mathematics Education.  She earned her Masters of Education at Southwestern Oklahoma State University where she assisted coach Kelsi Musick.

She also coached at Oklahoma Bible Academy and Cashion.

Jennings currently lives in Enid with husband Bradley.

Jennings replaces Scott Morris, now the head boys' coach at Stillwater High School.
