NOC Enid Jets' Madelyn Hankins is a returnee for the 2020-21 season.

Hankins is a sophomore guard from Blackwell, Oklahoma.

Why did you choose NOC? The NOC Enid community and atmosphere.

What is your major and what are your career goals?  Elementary Education.  Hankins plans to teach middle school math.

What are the challenges in balancing academics and athletics?  Finding the time to balance traveling and practices is crucial in being a student athlete.

What life experiences have helped you in college athletics?  I have learned to deal with adversity and being punctual.

What is different about college athletics and high school athletics? The speed, intensity, and competition in college is much different than high school.

What advice would you give high school students in choosing a college or university?  Find a club that interests you so you can network and make friends that have the same interests.

What do you do in your spare time? I love to cool with my mom and sister.  I also love to shop and hang with my friends.
