NOC Enid won Bedlam Round 1 with an 86-62 win over NOC Tonkawa Monday night at the Mabee Center.
The Lady Jets (2-5) improved to 2-1 in conference while NOC Tonkawa (6-6) fell to 2-1 in conference play.
NOC Enid was led by LaKysia Johnson with 24 points while Aleisha Hester added 20. Tegan Jones chipped in with 16 while Jade Hazelbaker added 13.
"So proud of what this team did tonight," said coach Kelli Jennings. "They work hard every day and needed this win to start building some momentum. We know the team we can be and tonight was a glimpse of that."
The Lady Jets jumped out to a hot start opening a 17-7 lead after the first 10 minutes. Enid then went on a 20-7 run late in the second quarter to take a 41-24 halftime lead.
The Lady Mavs cut the lead to 14 in the third quarter but that's as close as they would get as NOC Enid poured it on in the second half building a lead as big as 31 points.
NOC Tonkawa was led by Jordan Holman with 21.
The Lady Jets travel to Southwest Christian JV on Friday, their final game of the fall semester.
