TONKAWA, Oklahoma -- Rachel Fischer's two free throws with :21.5 left gave NOC Enid the lead for good in a 75-73 thriller at Tonkawa Monday night.

The win improved the Lady Jets to 8-6 on the year and 3-3 in conference while NOC Tonkawa fell to 7-11 on the year and 3-2 in league play.

Katie Edelen was the star for NOC Enid leading the way with 37 points while Brooklyn Bayless added 15 and Rachel Fischer 12.

Shiloh Fletcher had 11 rebounds for the Lady Jets while Fischer added 10.

"A big win," said coach Leondra Wilson.  "The ladies pulled through and did what was needed to get back in the game and finish with a win."

NOC Tonkawa led throughout the first half and took a 38-31 lead into the dressing room.  They held a 45-38 lead into the final period when the Lady Jets went on an 11-0 run to take a 59-55 lead.

Three lead changes later, the Lady Jets took the lead for good on Fischer's two free throws.  Edelen also added two key free throws giving the Lady Jets a 74-71 lead and after Tonkawa cut the lead to 74-73, Shiloh Fletcher made one at the line to give NOC Enid a 75-73.

The Lady Jets then withstood one last Tonkawa attempt but Kaydrin Scott's shot was off the mark.

The Lady Jets are at Murray State Saturday at 5:30 p.m.
