The NOC Enid Lady Jets fell in their home opener 70-48 to Howard (TX) Saturday at the Mabee Center.

Morgan Massey and Savannah King led the Lady Jets with 12 points each.

Lyndee Mikesell led the club with 13 rebounds while Kenly Lemons added six assists.

Howard seized control from the outset on Saturday building a 38-29 halftime lead and then extended the lead in the third quarter.

NOC shot just 25% from the floor and 27% from 3-point range.

The Lady Jets (1-1) host Kansas Wesleyan JV Monday at 5:30 p.m.
