
TISHOMINGO, Oklahoma -- Jerhyn Lewis scored the go-ahead goal for NOC Enid in a 2-1 win over Murray State Tuesday afternoon.
The Jets (4-4-2) improved to 4-3-2 in conference play while Murray State (5-3-2) fell to 3-3-2 in league play.
Lewis scored in the 67th minute, assisted by Lauren Lindell to give NOC a 2-1 lead. Kya Cornett scored the first NOC goal in the first to answer Murray State's first half goal.
Cornett's goal was assisted by Lewis.
NOC outshot Murray State 17-9.
Karen Avalos stopped nine shots in goal for NOC.
The Jets host Redlands in a conference game Sunday at 6 p.m. at the Advance Soccer Complex.
