Jets baseball drops two to NE Nebraska

The NOC Enid Jets dropped two to NE Nebraska on Tuesday at David Allen Memorial Ballpark 7-4 and 12-1.

In Game 1, NE Nebraska scored in five of seven innings downing the Jets 7-4 outhitting the Jets 14-6.

Calyn Halvorson homered for the second consecutive day and had threee runs batted in for the Jets.

Blake Scott also homered and singled for NOC.

Thomas Kuykendall started for the Jets with bullpen help from Maddux Mayberry and Zach Roden.

In Game 2, NE Nebraska used a seven run third inning to rout the Jets 12-1.

Gray Adams had the lone hit for the Jets, a second inning single that scored Sammy Harris.

Dylon Mallett got the start for the Jets with relief help from Garrett Stone, Aaron Baker, and Josh Rains.

The Jets (1-3) host Iowa Central in a three game series starting Friday at 6 p.m.
