Jets drop 6-4 decision to Iowa Central

Iowa Central scored four runs in the eighth inning to power past NOC Enid 6-4 in the first game of three game series Friday night at David Allen Memorial Ballpark.

Jets' catcher Blake Scott had three hits for the Jets while lead-off hitter Zach Escovedo had two hits.

Calyn Halvorson had a double and two runs scored.

Lane Behymer was the starter for the Jets with bullpen help from Gunner Phillips, Brayden Brock, and Josh Rains.  Brock suffered the loss allowing four runs in 1.2 innings.

The Jets led 3-2 before the eighth innings Iowa Central uprising.

The Jets (1-4) host Iowa Central in a doublheader Saturday starting at 1 p.m.
