Jets split two close games with DMACC

The NOC Enid Jets (4-9) split two well pitched games against DMACC Saturday at David Allen Memorial Ballpark.

The Jets won the second game 3-2 after dropping Game 1 3-0.

In Game 2, Calyn Halvorson's double scored Sammy Harris as the Jets rallied from a 2-1 seventh inning deficit winning 3-2.

The Jets tied the score at 2-2 in the seventh on a Turner Pruitt home run.  The Jets also had hits from Jack Roubik and Tanner Holliman.

Murphy Gienger (1-) earned the win out of the bullpen in back of starter Thomas Kuykendall.  The pair of Jet pitchers allowed just five hits.

In Game 1, DMACC shut the Jets out 3-0.

Halvorson and Ben Lawson accounted for the two NOC Enid hits.

Piercen Mcelyea (0-1) allowed just three runs on four hits for the Jets striking out 11.
