Blake Scott and Ty Chapman go back to back in win over South Arkansas

EL DORADO, Arkansas --  Blake Scott's three run home run and Ty Chapman's solo shot lifted the NOC Enid Jets to a 5-4 win over South Arkansas Friday in El Dorado, Arkansas.

NOC lost 8-3 in Game 2.

The Jets (7-16) improved to 2-4 in conference play.  South Arkansas (11-11-1) is 1-1 in league play.

In Game 1, NOC trailed 2-1 until Scott's fifth inning blast scored Ben Lawson and Sammy HarrisTy Chapman then followed with a solo shot that proved to be the winning run.

Piercen Mcelyea went the distance earning the win allowing three earned runs and seven hits over seven innings.

Harris had two hits for the Jets, Lawson scored two runs.

In Game 2, South Arkansas built an early 7-0 lead and cruised to an 8-3 win.

Holden Yoder had two hits while Ty Chapman had two runs batted in.

Murphy Gienger and Jack Cline worked for the Jets each tossing four innings.  Cline allowed no earned runs and just three hits.
