EL DORADO, Arkansas -- Zach Roden allowed one run over eight innings leading NOC Enid past South Arkansas 4-1 on Saturday.
The Jets (8-17) are 3-5 in conference play.
In Game 2, Roden allowed just three hits and struck out four. Maddux Mayberry earned the save with a perfect ninth inning.
Blake Scott had two doubles and two runs batted in while Marc Turner had two hits for the Jets.
NOC Enid led 2-1 in the ninth when Scott's second double scored Calyn Halvorson and Sammy Harris with two big insurance runs.
In Game 1, the Jets lost 5-2.
Tanner Holliman homered for the Jets only run.
Thomas Kuykendall allowed five runs in 4.2 innings. Gunner Phillips went the final 1.1 innings.
South Arkansas (12-12-1) is 2-2 in league play.
NOC Enid is at Rose State Tuesday for a doubleheader starting at 1 p.m.
