NOC splits with Rose State

MIDWEST CITY, Oklahoma --  The NOC Enid Jets split a pair at Rose State Friday in Midwest City.

The Jets (11-18) were 7-6 winners in Game 1 and lost the second game 10-6.

In Game 1, Sammy Harris seventh inning single scored Ty Chapman and Josh Hendricks with the go ahead runs in a 7-6 win.

Hendricks, Chapman, and Ben Lawson had three hits each while Hendricks and Harris drove in three runs each.

Maddux Mayberry earned the win with 1.1 innings of one hit relief.  

Dylon Mallett was the starter with Jakob Brandenberger, Dillon Dibrell, and Mayberry working from the Jets' pen.

In Game 2, the Jets led 4-3 until Rose added seven runs in the fourth to earn the 10-6 win.

Harris had three hits for the Jets while Lawson and Shea Morrison had two hits each.

Calyn Halvorson had two runs batted in.

Lane Behymer was the starter with Aaron Baker and Garrett Stone working in relief.

The Jets are at Hesston (KS) on Tuesday at 1 p.m.
