Jets lose two at Murray State

TISHOMINGO, Oklahoma --  The NOC Enid Jets dropped a pair to Murray State on Saturday 4-3 and 14-4.

The Jets (14-20) split the four game series with Murray winning twice in Enid on Thursday.

NOC Enid is 5-7 in conference while Murray State (16-17) is 7-9 in conference.

In Game 1, Tanner Holliman's seventh inning home run tied the score at 3-3 but Murray had a home run of their own in the bottom half to win 4-3.

Holliman also had a double while Blake Scott tripled in a run for the Jets.  Jack Roubik added two hits.

Thomas Kuykendall went the distance allowing four runs on seven hits.

In Game 2, Murray scored in the first five innings and cruised to the 14-4 win.

The Jets cut an 8-0 lead to 8-3 but Murray State then scored six runs over the final two innings.

Calyn Halvorson, Ty Chapman, Turner Pruitt, and Josh Hendricks all had rbi's for the Jets.

Zach Roden started for the Jets with bullpen help from Gunner Phillips, Dylon Mallett, and Maddux Mayberry.

The Jets are at Butler (KS) Tuesday at 1 p.m.
