NOC loses midweek game at Butler

EL DORADO, Kansas -- NOC Enid dropped a mid-week game at Butler (KS) 9-8 on Tuesday in El Dorado.

Blake Scott led the Jets with two hits while Jack Roubik had a home run and two runs batted in.

Calyn Halvorson also homered for NOC Enid.

Tuesday's game was tight throughout as Butler broke a 3-3 tie with three runs in the fourth.  The Jets then rallied to within 8-7 and 9-8 but could get no closer.

Jakob Brandenberger was the starter for the Jets allowing three runs and four hits over three innings.  Jack Cline through three 2.1 innings before giving way to Brayden Bock who tossed 2.1 innings of scoreless relief.

The Jets (14-21) are at NOC Tonkawa on Thursday and then host the Mavs on Saturday at 1 p.m.
