Yoder's single walks it off against Hesston

In a game that featured 33 runs and 37 hits, it was a 9th single to center by Holden Yoder that walked off a 17-16 NOC Enid win over Hesston (KS) on Tuesday at Failing Field.

NOC Enid led 12-11 heading to the ninth but Hesston scored five runs to take a 16-12 lead.

The Jets, just as they did against NOC Tonkawa on Sunday, rallied with five runs of their own to win 17-16.

NOC Enid sent nine men to the plate in the ninth, Yoder's single scored pinch runner Will Fleece with one out.

Calyn Halvorson and Tanner Holliman led the Jets with three hits and three runs batted in each.  Halvorson had a home run and a double.

Ben Lawson, Blake Scott, Jack Roubik, Ty Chapman, and Shea Morrison had two hits each.  

Garrett Stone was the winner in relieft in back of Lane Behymer, Dillon Dibrell, and Josh Rains.

The Jets (18-22) host Redlands in a conference doubleheader Wednesday at David Allen Memorial Ballpark.
