Jets drop two one run games at Redlands

EL RENO, Oklahohoma -- NOC Enid lost two one run games at Redlands Saturday in El Reno 2-1 and 5-4.

NOC Enid (20-24) dropped to 10-10 in league play while Redlands (19-29) is now 8-16.

In Game 1, the Jets scored their lone run in the third when Tanner Holliman singled home Ben Lawson and NOC led 1-0.

Redlands then scored the tying run in the fifth and winning run in the seventh on a one-out single.

Holliman and Blake Scott had the lone hits for the Jets.

Thomas Kuykendall was the tough luck loser allowing two runs in 6.1 innings striking out 12.

In Game 2, the Jets led 4-2 before Redlands scrored three runs in the sixth and held on for the 5-4 win.

Holliman had three hits in the second game while Scott had two hits and two runs batted in.

Zach Roden was the starter with Dylon Mallett, Jack Cline, Maddux Mayberry, and Brayden Bock working in relief.

The Jets are at Hutchinson (KS) on Tuesday at 2 p.m.
