Jets split doubleheader, earn series win over Carl Albert

NOC Enid picked up a series win over Carl Albert on Sunday as the Jets split a twinbill giving them three wins in the four game conference series.

NOC Enid (23-25) is now 13-11 in conference play while Carl Albert (18-27) are 10-14 in conference.

In the second game, the Jets used a home run and a triple from Calyn Halvorson to win 9-7.

NOC Enid trailed 5-3 before the Jets scored four runs in the seventh and two in the eighth to seal the win.

Sammy Harris and Shea Morrison had two hits each for the jets while Tanner Holliman and Sammy Harris scored two runs each.

Gunner Phillips earned the win from the Jets' bullpen, Jack Cline earned the save.

In Game 1, the Jets lost to the Vikings 15-2.

NOC scored their two runs in the fifth on a two run single by Holden Yoder scoring Sammy Harris and Ty Chapman.

Thomas Kuykendall, Brayden Bock, Jakob Brandenberger, and Josh Rains worked for the Jets.

NOC Enid is at UA Rich Mountain Thursday and then hosts the Bucks on Sunday, May 1.
