Jets split twin bill with #14 UA Rich Mountain

MENA, Arkansas -- The NOC Enid Jets routed #14 UA Rich Mountain Thursday 12-2 after losing the first game 2-0.

The Jets (24-26) are 14-12 in conference play while the Bucks (30-15) are 22-4 in league play.

the Jets scored in four of the first five innings en route to a 12-2 in over the Bucks.

Blake Scott had four hits including two doubles and four runs batted in.  Tanner Holliman, Sammy Harris, and Ty Chapman had two hits each, Chapman had two rbi's.

that's all Murphy Gienger needed as Gienger allowed two runs and nine hits over seven innings striking out five.

In Game 1, the Bucks scored two runs in the third and that was enough to beat NOC Enid in a classic pitcher's duel.

Scott had two hits while Ben Lawson and Shea Morrison had one hit each.

Piercen Mcelyea was the tough luck loser, allowing two runs on seven hits over seven innings striking out four.

NOC Enid hosts the Bucks Sunday at David Allen Memorial Ballpark at 1 p.m.
