Jets drop twin bill to #14 Rich Mountain

NOC Enid dropped two to #14 UA Rich Mountain 13-2 and 12-3 on Sunday.

The Jets (24-28) are 14-14 in league play with one conference series against Western left for the regular season.  UA Rich Mountain (32-15) improved to 24-4 in conference play.

The Jets are currently 4th in the conference race.

In Game 1, Rich Mountain erased a 3-1 deficit with 12 runs over the final three innings to win 13-3.

The Jets scored all three runs in the second, Holden Yoder had a key two run single in the inning.

Blake Scott had two hits including a double, NOC Enid had seven hits.

Thomas Kuykendall worked the first five innings, Jakob Brandenberger, Gunner Phillips, and Maddux Mayberry worked in relief.

In Game 2, Rich Mountain jumped to a 7-0 lead and coasted 12-3.

Calyn Halvorson had four hits including two doubles and two runs batted in.  

Turner Pruitt had three hits including a double for the Jets.

Zach Roden started for the Jets with relief help from Jack Cline and Brayden Bock.
