Bock powers Jets past #18 Western

ALTUS, Oklahoma -- Brayden Bock homered twice and drove in four in a 16-9 NOC Enid win over #18 Western on Sunday in Altus.

The Jets lost the first game 12-9.

NOC Enid (26-30) finished the year with a 16-16 conference record while Western (36-17) finished 20-10 in league play.

In the second game, the Jets jumped out to a 6-0 lead and never trailed in the 16-9 win.

Sammy Harris and Holden Yoder also homered for the Jets as NOC Enid had nine extra base hits.

Harris, Yoder, Gavin Haines, and Gray Adams had two hits each for NOC.

Zach Roden, Jakob Brandenberger, Gunner Phillips, Dillon Dibrell, and Josh Rains all worked from the mound.

In Game 1, the Jets lost 12-9.

Tanner Holliman had four hits including a home run while Blake Scott homered as well for the Jets.

Jack Roubik, Sammy Harris, and Josh Hendricks added two hits for the Jets.

Thomas Kuykdendall and Jack Cline worked from the mound for NOC Enid.

The Jets next action will be in the NJCAA Region 2 Tournament in Enid May 12-15.
