Jets explode early, coast past Carl Albert 12-2

NOC Enid pummeled Carl Albert the first two innings jumping to a 10-0 lead and then cruised to a 12-2 win Friday night at David Allen Memorial Ballpark.

The Jets (28-30) face the UA Rich Mountain-Murray State winner Saturday at 4 p.m.

A Tanner Holliman triple led to two runs in the first staking the Jets to a 2-0 lead.  Then in the second, Ben Lawson cranked a grand slam and Jack Roubik followed with a three run shot to give the Jets a 10-0 lead.  NOC Enid used two hits, five walks, and a passed ball to score the eight runs.

NOC Enid scored two more in the 6th forcing the run rule over the Vikings.

Zach Roden was in control on the mound allowing two runs on four hits while striking out three and walking three.

The Jets outhit the Vikings 8-4.
