Jets sweep Sharks, start season 4-0

PINE BLUFF, Arkansas --  NOC Enid completed a dour game sweep at Southeast Arkansas Friday with 13-4 and 10-9 wins.

In Game 1, Aaron Baker allowed one run over four innings and Jhett Creel and Creed Smith homered in a 13-4 win.

Creel had three hits and five runs batted in while Smith had three hits and three runs batted in to lead a 12 hit attack.

Jesse Ponce and Graham Hylton had two hits each for the Jets.

Baker allowed just one run on one hit for NOC Enid.  Cale Wetwiska and Blake Limberg worked from the bullpen, Wetwiska allowing one earned run.

In Game 2, the Jets rallied from an early 5-1 deficit for a 10-9 win over the Sharks.

Creed Smith had three hits and four runs batted in while Jesse Ponce and Owen Tracy homered for the Jets.  Ponce had two hits and three rbi's for NOC Enid.

NOC trailed 7-5 heading to the sixth and outscored the Sharks 5-2 over the final two innings.

Logan Wade earned the win from the bullpen allowing one run in two innings.  Julio Heredia earned the save working the seventh.

The Jets host Northeast Nebraska in a four game series Feb. 10-11 at David Allen Memorial Ballpark.
