NOC splits with Northeast Nebraska

Cale Wetwiska's three run homer walked it off for NOC Enid Saturday in a 12-10 win over Northeast Nebraska on Saturday.

The Jets trailed 9-4 until the Jets rallied for five runs to tie the game at 9-9.  After the Hawks scored a run in the 8th, the Jets rallied as Cooper Smith singled and then Jesse Ponce singled to put two runners on board setting up Wetwiska's heroics.  

Ponce and Smith both had three hits each while Brandon Pierre and Wetwiska had three rbi's each.  Pierre was also a menace on the bases stealing three in Game 1.

Blake Limberg earned the win in relief allowing one hit and one unearned run.

in Game 2, the Hawks were 14-5 winners in Game 2.

NOC Enid scored all its runs in the fifth when the Jets plated five runs.

Pierre had another three hit game and two steals while Graham Hylton had two hits.

Aaron Baker was the starter for the Jets.

NOC (7-1) host East Central College on Friday.
