Jets rally past DMACC on Saturday

Cale Wetwiska scored on a wild pitch with the go-ahead run Saturday in a 7-6 Jets' win over Des Moines Area at David Allen Memorial Ballpark.

The Jets lost the first game 5-2.

NOC trailed the Bears 6-2 before scoring four runs in the 5th to tie the game at 6-6.  Wetwiska then walked in the 6th and later scored giving the Jets the win.

Cooper Smith and Owen Tracy had two hits each with Tracy driving home two runs for the Jets.  Aaron Baker earned the win working a scoreless 6th and Julia Heredia earned the save with a scoreless 7th.

In Game 1, DMACC scored three runs in the 5th and earned a 5-2 win over NOC Enid.

Owen Tracy and Jesse Ponce drove in runs for the Jets.

Wetwiska, Logan Wade, and Heredia worked from the mound for the Jets.

The Jets (10-6) host Carl Albert on March 1.
