ALTUS, Oklahoma -- NOC Enid dropped the first of a three game series Friday at #14 Western 6-4.

After taking a 2-0 lead, Western scored six unsanswered runs and held on for the 6-4 win.

Owen Tracy's two-run home run scored Cooper Smith and NOC held a 2-0 lead.

Trailing 6-2, the Jets then scored single runs in the 5th and 7th but fell short 6-4.

Jhett Creel and Jesse Ponce had two hits each.

Daniel Schlehuber, Jesse Slimp, and Corbin Kwan worked for the Jets on the mound.  Slinp allowed just one run over 4.1 innings of work.

The Jets (22-8) are at Western for two games Saturday starting at 1 p.m.
