Jets split at #14 Western

ALTUS, Oklahoma --  The NOC Enid Jets scored four runs in the 9th to upend #14 Western 11-8 on Saturday.

The Jets lost Game 2, 6-5.

Owen Tracy had the big blow with a three run home run in the 9th.

Jesse Ponce had two hits including a home run and four rbi's while Cale Wetwiska homered with two runs batted in.

Brandon Pierre, Cooper Smith, and Jhett Creel had two hits each.

Julio Heredia earned the win allowing two runs in three innings in back of starter Christian Estep and Logan Wade.

In Game 2, Western scored the go-ahead run in the 7th to beat the Jets 6-5.

Cale Wetwiska had two hits including a home run and three runs batted in.  Owen Tracy had three hits including two doubles and one run batted in.

Wetwiska, Brodie Finlay, Kale Miller, and Aaron Baker worked for the Jets.  

The Jets (23-9) are 10-2 in conference while Western (21-10) is 8-4 in league.

NOC Enid is at NEO Tuesday at 2 p.m.
