DENISON, Texas --  The NOC Enid Jets lost all four games in a tough field in the season opening softball festival last weekend in Denison, Texas.

In Game 1, the Jets led Vernon (TX) 6-2 but Vernon scoered nine runs over two innings to beat NOC Enid 11-8.

Chloe Middleton had three hits for the Jets including two doubles.  Adrian Walker, Adie White and Brook Fleming had two hits each, White and Walker scored two runs each.  Fleming added three runs batted in while Sidney Redmon drove in two runs.

Paige Castillo and Mackenzie Cusick worked in the circle for the Jets.

In Game 2, Paris broke open a 4-4 tie with six runs in the second and six in the fourth to win 16-5 over the Jets.

Fleming had another two hits for the Jets while Sierra Woods had two runs batted in.

Alycyn Nash and Cusick worked in the circle for the Jets.

In Game 3, Iowa Central scored two runs in the fourth to beat the Jets 7-6.

NOC Enid scored three runs in the fourth to take a 6-5 lead before Iowa Central rallied.

Fleming and White had two hits each for NOC Enid while White and Kaycee Babek had two runs batted in each.

Anna Hester and Nash worked for the Jets in the circle.

In the final game, the Jets trailed Grayson (TX) 3-2 before Grayson scored nine runs in the fifth to win 12-2.

Fleming and Camaryn Alexander had two hits each for the Jets.  

Castillo, Nash, Molly Dolan, and Cusick worked in the circle for NOC Enid.

The Jets are at Barton (KS) Feb. 14 at 1 p.m. for their next action.
