Paige Castillo tossed a two hit shutout and Taryn Rhodes homered and doubled in an 8-0 win over NOC Tonkawa salvaging a split in a conference doubleheader Tuesday.

The Jets (12-9) lost Game 1 4-3.

In Game 2, Castillo allowed just two hits and struck out five while getting plenty of offensive support in a 10 hit attack.

Rhodes and Kaycee Babek had two hits each while Rhodes, Brook Fleming, and Chloe Middleton had two runs batted in each.

The Jets led 4-0 before scoring four runs in the fifth to earn the 8-0 run rule win.

In Game 1, Middleton homered but it wasn't enough in a 4-3 loss.

The Jets led the Mavs 3-1 before NOC Tonkawa scored three runs in the seventh to rally for the 4-3 win.

Molly Dolan allowed four runs on seven hits.

The Jets scored all their runs in the third as Middleton homered and then Krista Yackeyonny scored on a Babek single and then Tylie Ligons scored on a ground out.
