Enid falls twice to #9 Seminole

SEMINOLE, Oklahoma --  9th ranked Seminole was not a gracious host as the Jets lost a twinbill 3-2 and 14-1.

The Jets (18-17) fell to 8-10 in league play while Seminole (27-5) improved to 15-3 in conference.

In Game 1, the Jets evened the game at 2-2 in the seventh when Chloe Middleton doubled home Krista Yackeyonny with two outs but Seminole scored the game winner in the bottom half earning a 3-2 win.

Enid plated their first run in the fourth on a Kaycee Babek sacrifice fly scoring Camaryn Alexander.

Molly Dolan allowed on earned runs on six hits in the circle.

In the second game, Seminole scored 12 runs in the second and won 14-1.

Alexander, Taryn Rhodes, and Adie White had hits for the Jets, White the lone rbi.

Anna Hester started in the circle for the Jets.

The Jets are at Eastern on Thursday at 2 p.m.
