The NOC Enid Lady Jets improved to 2-2 in league play with a 71-59 win over Western in the Lady Jets first game after Winter Break.

Libbi Zinn led the Lady Jets with 19 points while LaKysia Johnson, Braylee Dale and Elizabeth Simpson added eight points each.

The Lady Jets blasted out to a 20-4 first quarter edge and Monday's game looked like a potential blow out.

Western then rallied to cut the lead to 30-25 at half.

NOC held the Lady Pioneers at bay in the third quarter and then pulled away in the final period outscoring Western 14-6 to start the quarter building a 60-46 lead.

Western would get no closer than eight points the rest of the way.

Jade Hazelbaker added 11 rebounds and five assists while Elizabeth Simpson led with 13 rebounds.

The Lady Jets (6-4) host NEO at 4:30 p.m. Thursday in the Mabee Center.
